Project Description
The Rotary Club of Himalayan Golfers (RCHG), in partnership with St. John Association Nepal, successfully conducted a CPR and First Aid Training program on Saturday, July 26th, 2025, at Matrika Eye Center. This important initiative aimed to equip future healthcare professionals with essential life-saving skills. The session was attended by 50 students from Matrika’s Physiotherapy and Optometry programs. The training was conducted by a team of 6 skilled technicians from St. John, who provided hands-on demonstrations and interactive instruction on emergency response techniques, including CPR, bandaging, and first-level trauma care. The program not only enhanced the participants’ clinical competencies but also raised awareness about the importance of quick and informed action during medical emergencies.
RCHG extends sincere thanks to St. John Association Nepal for their expert support and to Matrika Eye Center for hosting the session. This impactful initiative reflects Rotary’s dedication to promoting community health, capacity building, and service above self.
